About this event
Nsilo Oure Urban Farm at Union Temple Baptist Church is in our Building Bridges Farm network. This farm is in the center of Anacostia and is entirely run by volunteers.
Help us plant, weed and water the garden beds. REGISTER HERE
If you would like to volunteer here on Saturdays, you can reach out directly to one of the garden managers, Jose Long (jose.long58 at gmail).
Please dress to get dirty and be comfortable in the weather of the day. If foul weather is in the forecast, look out for an email from us in case we need to cancel.
Children accompanied by a parent or guardian are welcome.
If you would like to bring a large group, we are in need of new garden beds at this location, so a large effort is welcome. If your group is willing to contribute to the purchase of lumber and soil, please reach out. Building beds is a fun group activity!
