A play with carols by Mark Shanahan
A Sherlock Carol, a play with carols by Mark Shanahan inspired by the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, is an inventive holiday production that seamlessly intertwines the worlds of Sherlock Holmes and A Christmas Carol. Set in 1894, the story reimagines a grown-up Tiny Tim who seeks out the famed detective to investigate the mysterious death of Ebenezer Scrooge. Holmes is compelled to confront his own past and inner turmoil, guided by spectral encounters reminiscent of Scrooge’s transformative journey. Combining aspects of two classics of Victorian literature and uniting them both in a joyful mug of holiday cheer, this play is a festive feast for the senses. Recommended for ages 6 & up.
