Good morning, Rockville.
🏛️ Government
Montgomery County Council voted on Tuesday to add Timberlawn, the Rockville home where Eunice Kennedy Shriver started Camp Shriver, to its historic preservation plan.
The property owners spent years advocating for the site’s protection (their effort preserved a key part of the Special Olympics’ history) and the decision will keep it protected for future generations.
