- ➤ Celebrating National Principals Month, Aaron Shin, principal at Parkland Middle School, shared his 19 years with MCPS and his six years leading the school, noting his focus on student safety and stronger writing skills. - ➤ MCPS staff presented revised boundary options for Crown High School last week that keep the attendance zones for Poolesville and Richard Montgomery high schools in Rockville while shifting zones for schools including Gaithersburg, Thomas S. Wootton and Winston Churchill—changes set for the 2027-2028 school year. The study will also affect 17 middle schools and other high schools and must be finalized by March 2026—community feedback helped shape these new plans. MoCo360
