- ➤ Montgomery County Public Schools Superintendent Thomas Taylor, Ph.D. announced on Monday a plan to repurpose Silver Spring International Middle School as a temporary holding school for middle and high school students if repairs are needed amid Purple Line construction—parents and students will voice concerns at a PTSA meeting Tuesday night at the nearly 100-year-old campus on Wayne Avenue.
