- ➤ Two people with gunshot wounds were taken to Adventist HealthCare Germantown Emergency Center Tuesday morning — officers had been dispatched after a shooting near a housing complex on Crystal Rock Drive close to Seneca Valley High School. MoCo360

- ➤ Bethesda Magazine has released a guide of 24 fall events in Montgomery County—these include music shows, art festivals, and film screenings scheduled from Sept. 6 to Oct. 25 that let locals plan their fall activities. MoCo360
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ On Aug. 23, MCPS hosted a Back-to-School Fair where thousands of students, parents, and community members collected free school supplies and information. - ➤ Nearly 160,000 Montgomery County students returned to classrooms on Tuesday as schools launched new cell phone rules for younger students and updated their student code of conduct.
