Good morning, Rockville.

Montgomery County firefighters put out a blaze on the top floor of a townhouse on Templeton Place in Rockville Saturday afternoon — the Red Cross assisted an adult and two children who were displaced as investigators looked into the cause.

Montgomery County’s Department of Transportation has been testing Parker—a security robot with 360-degree cameras and sensors at the Town Square Parking Garage in Silver Spring since June.

Officials will host public input events on Aug. 31, Sept. 7, Sept. 18, and Sept. 27 to address privacy concerns and guide Parker’s future.
