  • Montgomery County Police arrested 61-year-old Daniel Paul Shay on Saturday after his 81-year-old mother was reported missing from their home and later found dumped on Brink Road, and they charged his 59-year-old roommate with accessory to murder—evidence links both to her death.  WJLA
  • MS-13 gang member Edgard Castro-Contreras received a life sentence plus 52 years from Maryland Circuit Court Judge Theresa Chernosky Monday for fatally shooting 20-year-old Edvin Agustin Leon in Gaithersburg in 2022—authorities linked the incident to a gang-related plot.  WJLA
