- ➤ Neighbors Coffee, a locally owned small-batch coffee shop that roasts its own beans, opened its first brick-and-mortar location last Wednesday at Woodley Gardens on 1101 Nelson St.—the shop offers coffee, matcha drinks, pastries from Fresh Baguette and plans to convert its drive-thru window into a walk-up service with a future patio space for community events. - ➤ Starting Sunday, Aug. 17, the bus loop at Medical Center Metro Station in Bethesda will close on select Sundays through spring for MetroRail construction—Ride On Routes 34 and 46 will board at Bus Bay H or Bus Bay G on affected days.
