- ➤ Two teen boys were arrested for armed robbery after they robbed the same beer and wine store in Bethesda three days in a row—on July 8, 9 and 10—as police said they threatened an employee and stole money. WTOP
- ➤ Montgomery County Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Rockville liquor store that occurred on July 1 when a white male teenager with red hair, seen wearing a cinnamon cap, reflective sunglasses, yellow rubber gloves, a gray hoodie, black pants and white sneakers, confronted an employee, demanded money from the register and fled by jumping a fence — detectives are urging the public to share any information based on released surveillance footage. - ➤ Rockville man Javier Armando Pastrán Morales, 32, was first arrested without bond on May 15 after a 15-year-old reported he recorded her in a Westfield Montgomery fitting room on April 17—he was re-arrested on July 11 and now faces charges for production and distribution of child pornography, sexual abuse of a minor, aggravated cruelty to animals and possession of child pornography.
