Good morning, Rockville.

The trial of former FBI agent Eduardo Valdivia, accused of rape and assault, continues as witness testimonies are planned for next week — one 21-year-old woman testified on Thursday and his attorney said he may also speak.

Dozens of Rockville residents met Thursday when Montgomery County Public Schools announced that an alternative education program will move from Silver Spring to the North Lake Center in the Flower Valley and Manor Lake neighborhoods this August as the Plum Orchard lease ended on June 30—all while many asked for clearer data and better safety plans for the new location.

MoCo Ride On buses became free for all riders on June 29—Councilmember Evan Glass and the county transportation department removed the fare to help people travel without a money barrier.

The new plan is funded by the county transit fund and the state.
