- ➤ Capital Bikeshare announced that starting on Aug. 1 most annual memberships and rides on silver e-bikes will cost more as the standard rate rises to $120—day passes will increase by $2 and corporate memberships will go up. The new pricing is designed to fund additional e-bikes, better docking stations and keeping the e-bikes charged while riders in the income-based program continue to pay $5 annually with a modest per-minute rate increase. - ➤ Anuva Maloo, a rising senior at Montgomery Blair High, was sworn in on Tuesday as Montgomery County’s new student member of the Board of Education at the MCPS building in Rockville.
