- ➤ Two 18-year-old teens, Caleb Jiron from Frederick and Ferddy Gonzalez-Soto from Montgomery Village, were charged with attempted murder after shooting a man with ghost guns on June 12 in the 200 block of North Washington Street in Rockville—police said the victim remains hospitalized in stable condition and the suspects face additional charges. - ➤ A Germantown man (Joseph Amr Khairy Abdall, 38) was arrested at Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School in Rockville after refusing to stop when ordered by two off-duty Montgomery County police officers; his pocketknife fell during the struggle and the officers sustained minor injuries (he faces charges including assault, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest).
