Parents with over 2,000 petition signatures have urged the board to reconsider the proposal to keep the community together—a review of data and upcoming meetings in July, August, and September will guide future decisions. - ➤ Montgomery County Public Schools is revising school boundaries for the 2027-2028 school year to ease overcrowding and shorten bus rides as new and reopened schools begin admitting students—many will change schools as the plan starts with grades 9 and 10 while rising 11th and 12th graders remain at their current schools.
