ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Montgomery County Fire and Rescue crews rescued a horse after its leg fell through a wooden pedestrian bridge at Patuxent River State Park near Brookville on Sunday afternoon — the horse sustained soft tissue injuries but could stand after sedation. FOX 5 DC
- ➤ A horse trapped on a pedestrian bridge at Patuxent River State Park was rescued Sunday after firefighters, rescue technicians and a veterinarian cut away part of the wooden decking near the 23200 block of Georgia Avenue to free its leg and the animal sustained soft-tissue damage but could walk normally. - ➤ Hundreds of D.C.-area middle schoolers showcased their inventions at Bethesda's KID Museum on Sunday during the Invent the Future Expo. The projects—including a trash-clearing drone and a mobile homeless shelter—were developed over a semester by students from Montgomery County Public Schools to address environmental and social challenges.
