Montgomery County Public Schools celebrated National Physical Education and Sport Week at Cannon Road Elementary School as teacher Angela Sebring (with 22 years of experience) led a volleyball unit that built skills from striking balloons to full gameplay while teaching teamwork and communication for all students.

Families and athletes in Montgomery County are taking a stand to save the gymnastics program after the school district decided to cut the sport.

The district said there was no choice in making the change.
