- ➤ Montgomery County Department of Transportation will host a free Safety Day event on Saturday, May 10 at Carver Educational Services Center in Rockville as doors open at 11 a.m. and the event runs until 3 p.m. Local high school students will lead interactive activities on traffic and bike safety + the event will feature a traffic garden, a bike raffle for K-5 children, and live entertainment. - ➤ Jorden Nylen Hungerford, 19, turned himself in at the Rockville City Police Department on Saturday for his alleged role in the April 26 homicide of Henry Krishawn Gilbert in Montgomery Village—another suspect, Demari Howard Brown, 20, was arrested Thursday on similar charges and is held without bond while awaiting a preliminary hearing on May 30.
