- ➤ Montgomery County Public Schools approved a plan to move Wootton students to a new building at Crown High in Gaithersburg fall, while a group of parents claims the move is effectively a school closure and is asking for a 60-day review pause. Montgomery Community Media
- ➤ MCPS is considering raising school meal prices by 95 cents over three years to cover rising food and labor costs while keeping its food services solvent. The changes, planned for fiscal years 2027–2029, will not affect students who qualify for free or reduced-price meals. MoCo360
