- ➤ Nearly 300 high school students from various schools participated in the 8th Annual MCPS Cyber Forensics Challenge held last month at Montgomery College’s Germantown Campus. The day featured breakfast, a capture-the-flag style investigation (designed by a Poolesville alumnus) and an awards ceremony (with guest speaker Simeon Kakpovi) recognizing top teams. - ➤ Teachers and union leaders rallied in Rockville last week to demand that public schools receive full funding, while councilmembers review a proposed budget that fully funds schools+includes tax hikes on property and income tax.
