- ➤ Local entrepreneur Stefano Marzano reconnected this week with his childhood eye doctor, Dr. Marijean Miller, at Children’s National after more than a decade apart. - ➤ Germantown historian Anthony Cohen plans to walk 750 miles from the Sandy Spring Slave Museum to Toronto starting May 4 and finishing on July 4 for a second walk to freedom. - ➤ Montgomery County Public Schools leaders discussed plans to adjust school boundaries at a March 12 work session; the Board will vote on changes March 26. If approved, the study will rebalance enrollment, reopen Charles W. Woodward High School, and affect student assignments (involving 47 elementary schools) over school years. - ➤ A mysterious white substance spilled from pipes in Rock Creek on Wednesday, prompting neighbors to seek answers. Montgomery County environmental inspectors later said officials identified it as paint once it dissipated and warned that illegal dumping risks local waterways and wildlife. FOX 5 DC

- ➤ Montgomery County is recruiting 15 local residents to join its Water Quality Advisory Group to advise county leaders on water protection policies.
