- ➤ Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center is at capacity and urged residents to adopt or foster dogs. Over the weekend, 11 dogs were placed in homes (seven adopted Saturday and six fostered on Sunday) while two await spay and neuter surgery. MoCo360
- ➤ Bethesda-based nonprofit 4 Montgomery’s Kids assists children and young adults in foster care by approving requests for school supplies, essentials, and scholarships, and it is launching a Boost program that offers $600 a month plus mentoring from a Rockville partner. - ➤ Families from Magruder High School plan to voice concerns over boundary changes at a Montgomery County School board meeting tonight (March 10). WUSA9
- ➤ MCPS honored 11 top employees during a Celebration Express event today. Top educators and support staff were recognized, with one Teacher of the Year finalist set to compete for Maryland in May and three support staff advancing as award finalists. Montgomery County Public Schools
- ➤ Families at a meeting on Monday night expressed concerns over a plan by Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) to move Rockville’s Wootton High School students to Crown High School starting in the 2027-28 school year. The school board will vote on the proposal March 26. WJLA
