EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Montgomery County school board postponed its vote on revoking MBLI (the county’s only public charter school) due to new information from its leadership, President Grace Rivera-Oven said. A new vote is set for Feb. 5 as the board reviews the evidence. MoCo360
- ➤ Former teacher Brenda Diaz filed her candidacy on Friday to run for an at-large school board seat in the June primary (she lost her 2024 race) using a Gaithersburg P.O. box after leaving MCPS in 2022 following a mask mandate dispute. MoCo360
