- ➤ Islamophobic and anti-Palestinian graffiti was found on the side of Walt Whitman High School in Bethesda on Friday and prompted school and county leaders to act, with Montgomery County police beginning an investigation at 7:22 a.m. and the school sharing resources on fighting hate (via a letter). - ➤ Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School celebrated the civil rights leader's birthday on Thursday by hosting a bicycle event that featured Poland's charge d'affaires Bogdan Klich, highlighting a daily cycling program that started in 2018 to promote wellness and community ties. MoCo360

- ➤ Montgomery County Councilmember Evan Glass announced legislation on Friday that would set up a temporary task force to review data center applications—its recommendations are due within a year.
