EDUCATION NEWS

- ➤ MCPS is proposing a tiered approach based on poverty data to adjust elementary class sizes and staffing guidelines in the FY27 budget; the district will review the proposal on Jan. 29 at a county board work session and may lower class sizes by one student using a $35 million funding shift.
