- ➤ At Cabin Branch Elementary, more than 90 boys meet every Wednesday and Friday morning for the BEAR Club (Boys Encouraging Acceptance and Respect) to play sports, practice conflict resolution and build teamwork as part of National Mentoring Month. - ➤ Maryland health officials are warning that flu cases and hospitalizations are rising sharply across the state and recommending masking for health care facilities — residents are urged to get vaccinated and consult with their providers. FOX 5 DC
- ➤ The Maryland Department of Health is urging residents to get flu shots as rising cases have led to hospitalizations and seven deaths since September.
