Independence Now is Heading to the Montgomery County Thanksgiving Parade!

About this event

Come Celebrate the Season With Us!

Independence Now is excited to participate in the 2026 Montgomery County Thanksgiving Parade , and we want YOU to join us!

On Saturday, November 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. , Downtown Silver Spring will come alive with marching bands, colorful floats, performers, holiday entertainment, and community organizations coming together to celebrate the beginning of the holiday season.

And this year, Independence Now will be part of the celebration!

We invite all of our consumers, families, friends, staff, and community partners to come out and celebrate with us. This is an opportunity to show the Montgomery County community that people with disabilities are active, engaged, and valued members of our community.

Let’s come together, represent Independence Now, connect with our neighbors, and enjoy a day filled with community, laughter, and celebration.
