Registration

This Pokémon Trading Card Game Standard format League Challenge is an advanced tournament intended for players who have already competed in a TCG Standard Tournament, with a limit of 36 total competitors. Players can register online prior to the tournament, until all spots have been reserved. Players should arrive at or before 5:30 PM. Last call for registration is 5:50 PM. Walk on players from an in person wait list will be added at 6:00 PM.

Preparation

All that you need to compete is a Pokémon Trainer Club ID, a 60-card deck that is in the current Standard format rotation in matching non-transparent sleeves. These decks will need to be checked by a Staff member to ensure all cards and sleeves are tournament-legal. If you are unsure whether your cards are in the Standard format, just ask! Final deck changes must be made before 5:50 PM.

Competition

Registered players not present are dropped (or given a Round 1 loss depending on the situation) starting at 6:05 PM, and the first swiss round starts at 6:10 PM. Swiss rounds are 30 minutes, best-of-one, + 3 turns after time. Total rounds are based on number of players competing. There can be up to 5 total rounds with no less than 3 rounds. If you have any questions, we’re here to answer them!
