About this event

Lace Up for the Westminster 5K!

Join us for a fun, family-friendly race that’s open to all ages and welcomes both the Westminster community and the greater Annandale community! With a fun run for our youngest Griffins , a 1K race , and a 5K race , there’s something for everyone.

This year’s race supports our Dream to Reality Annual Giving Campaign , with a goal of $25,000 . Every grade that raises $500 or more will earn a dress-down day , and the student who raises the most money will win a special prize! Plus, enjoy cash prizes for the top male and female 5K runners and other exciting giveaways.

In honor of Veterans Day , a portion of the proceeds will benefit Warrior Canine Connection . Warrior Canine Connection enlists recovering Veterans to train service dogs for fellow Veterans through its groundbreaking Mission-Based Trauma Recovery model—fostering healing, community, and renewed purpose—while providing critically needed support at no cost to the recipients, making donations essential to sustaining this transformative work.

Come show your Griffin pride, enjoy the fresh air, and help turn dreams into reality—one stride at a time!
