About this event
Deborah Brouse loves nothing more than to encourage others to know the joy of singing, regardless of their talent or musical experience. After directing the music in school musical theater productions for many years, Deborah has enjoyed leading sing-alongs for seniors for the past several years. In 2020 she received a Community Cornerstone Award from DC Councilmember Anita Barnes for that service.
For the senior sing-along, the only requirement is a desire to sing. Piano accompaniment and lyrics to many familiar songs are provided, and participants choose which songs to sing. This is music making for our own pleasure and nothing more. The goal is for everyone to leave smiling and humming!
