About this event
Beginner Horton technique class introduces dancers to the foundational principles and exercises of this modern dance style. Dancers will build strength, alignment, and coordination while learning core skills such as flat backs, laterals, primitive squats, leg swings, elementary balance, and swing and release work. The class will also introduce traveling movements including prances, triplets, and Egyptian walks. This class is perfect for dancers with some dance experience but no Horton background.
