Community Service Project - Thanksgiving Centerpieces

About this event

The Longfellow Garden Club of Howard County invites interested men & women to this month's hands-on workshop "Making Thanksgiving Centerpieces."

Dress casually to participate in creating Thanksgiving centerpieces with provided containers, floral hardware, ribbon, silk flowers, live greens and instructions.

This year, make two: one for donation to local nursing homes, assisted living sites, or senior centers and one for your holiday table.

Please bring your own clippers, scissors & gloves, and if available, greens from your garden, wire cutters, silk flowers in fall hues, etc.

Bring a bag lunch and water. Light refreshments provided. Come to The Hawthorn Center on Thurs. Nov 12, 2026 (noon-2:30pm).

$5 materials fee for club members; $10 materials fee for non-members.

Please RSVP to Crystal at 301-335-4870 (mobile) by Monday, November 9th .
