About this event
Tasca d’Almerita is one of Sicily’s benchmark family wineries, with roots at Tenuta Regaleali dating to 1830 . For nearly two centuries, the Tasca family has helped define the evolution of Sicilian wine, combining generations of agricultural tradition with an early belief that the island could produce wines of genuine elegance, longevity and international stature. Today, the family remains deeply connected to the land while continuing to push Sicilian wine forward.
What makes Tasca especially fascinating is the extraordinary diversity of Sicily itself. Rather than focusing on a single corner of the island, the family now works across five distinct estates and territories — from historic Regaleali in Sicily’s mountainous interior to the volcanic slopes of Etna, Monreale, Salina in the Aeolian Islands and Mozia off Sicily’s western coast. Each estate highlights a different landscape, climate and set of native grapes, creating what the family fittingly describes as a journey through the Sicilian “continent.”
Join us for an intimate guided tasting of four Tasca d’Almerita wines and a chance to explore one of the great families of Italian wine. From native Sicilian varieties to some of the estate’s most celebrated bottlings, this is a tasting that shows why Tasca d’Almerita has become synonymous with the quality, diversity and extraordinary potential of modern Sicily.
