About this event
Saturday November 7 * 1pm * $5 suggested * REGISTER Live Action Role Play is a combination of improv, theater, physical movement, crafts, and just about any genre of story you can think of! All are welcome to these 2-hour LARPs hosted at Rhizome DC, whether you're completely new to the artform or a seasoned veteran. On Saturday, November 7 from 1-3 pm we're playing Dancing Queen of 1518, the *world debut* of a game submitted for the Golden Cobra Challenge 2026 . It's September of 1518 in the Free Imperial City of Straßburg and its leaders face two challenges: a plague of compulsive dancing in the streets and growing calls to reform the Roman Catholic Church. Come prepared to dance and make hard decisions in this historical LARP meets silent disco (all participants MUST bring headphones of some sort).
