Join Future Harvest and CAIC for an in-person Produce Safety Risk Assessment Field Day to learn the fundamentals of produce safety and strengthen food safety practices on your farm while working toward compliance with the FDA’s Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Produce Safety Rule.
Food safety trainers Ruth Tyson and Lindsay Gilmour will cover practical best practices and key topics, including: Soil amendments, Worker health and hygiene, Wildlife and domestic animals, Produce safety practices and FSMA requirements
The field day will also include a tour of Willowsford Farm, providing an opportunity to see produce safety practices in action.
